Paper Submission

You are kindly invited to submit the full text version of your paper. The electronic format of the full-text paper (*.doc and *.pdf documents) will be sent as e-mail attachment to cjaliu@unitbv.ro or arotmm@unitbv.ro, no later than the 15^th of March 2009. The guidelines for paper editing are posted on the conference web-site http://www.arotmm.ro/syrom2009/papers.htm.

Only papers with at least one author as registered participant will be included in the Proceedings. Proceedings will be published in a hardcopy volume of an internationally recognized Publishing House, after the peer review process.

 Registration Fee

The conference fee, as early bird registration, is 150 EUR (100 EUR for PhD students) and includes:

-         publication of one paper;

-         conference documents;

-         coffee breaks, lunches, welcome party and the festive dinner.

For each additional paper, a fee of 70 EUR is required supplementary to the registration fee.

Registration fees after 15th of June 2009 are of 200 EUR (110 EUR for PhD students) and the supplementary fee for each additional paper is 80 EUR.

The conference fees will be paid, mentioning for Transilvania University of Brasov, C.F. 4317754, in the bank account number:

Please indicate in the payment document: “SYROM 2009” followed by your name.

Scanned copies of the payment documents will be sent, via e-mail, to the Organizing Committee (payment is a compulsory condition for publishing).

Presentation and Proceedings

The official language of the Symposium is English. The speakers should present their contribution in 15 min. Further 5 min are available for discussions. Slide and overhead projectors, video projectors and VHS video system are available for presentation.

Accommodation and Travel

In Brasov there are hotels in all the categories. A list of hotels are posted below.

Brasov can be reached both by train and by car. There are trains from Bucharest to Brasov every hour; the trip takes approximately three hours. A car trip from Bucharest may take two hours and a half. A pick up bus will be provided from and to Bucharest airport.
